Mike began his career in 2014 as a Case Manager in the GEO Group’s Day Reporting Program, providing counseling and group therapy to defendants on parole through the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. Shortly thereafter, he transitioned to the Chester County Adult Probation, Parole and Pretrial Department, where he worked for nearly two years as a Probation Officer in General Supervision. There, he was certified as a trainer in Effective Practices in Community Supervision, an evidence-based approach towards conducting office visits developed by the University of Cincinnati’s Corrections Institute.
In 2016, he transitioned to his current employer, the Bucks County Adult Probation and Parole Department. Between 2016 and 2022, he worked as a Probation and Parole Officer in their Intake and General Supervision Units. During this time, he was certified as a trainer in the Ohio Risk Assessment System (a validated risk assessment system developed by the University of Cincinnati’s Corrections Institute). He also earned a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a graduate certificate in Leadership from DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. In 2022, he was selected to work in the Specialized Supervision Unit, where he has worked primarily as a Pretrial Supervision Officer ever since. In 2025, he was elected as an at-large member for the Eastern District of the Executive Board for the Pennsylvania Pretrial Services Association.
